SQL Server Consultant – Consultancy

Feel free to reach out and apply today! Responsibilities: Design and build efficient SQL Server databases, both on-premises and in Azure Cloud. Collaborate with business stakeholders to solve technical and process issues. Provide 24/7 operational support for maintaining system reliability. Work within an ITIL framework to handle incidents, problems, and changes. Develop automation tools to support DevOps teams. Research and implement new cloud technologies in collaboration with vendors. Work closely with senior staff to tackle technical challenges and develop solutions. Build strong relationships with internal teams to design and deliver new operational capabilities. Support the sales team with complex solution designs for customer bids. Lead the implementation of complex cloud services, integrating company offerings with cloud architectures. Required Skills/Qualifications: Hold live NV1 Clearance Deep understanding of SQL Server Architecture and a history of driving successful results. Expertise in Availability Groups, Mirroring, Log Shipping, and Replication. Skilled in SQL Server Security, as well as database migrations to both on-prem and cloud environments. Experience with SQL Server on public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google). Proficient with Azure SQL Managed Instance and AWS SQL Server RDS. Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and Managed Services. Proficiency in TSQL, Powershell, and general scripting. System Administration skills, including storage and networking knowledge.
