They will be responsible for managing working relationships with partners such as issuers, banks, and Alternative Payment Methods. The role will be accountable for establishing heightened value propositions with partners and engaging the maximum number of shoppers with our marketing and payments programs to create an affordable payment experience.

Key job responsibilities:

Proactively manage working relationships with existing partners (banks, card schemes, and Alternative Payment Methods). Identify Amazon and partner interests for select events/opportunities including defining bank partnership roadmaps, marketing promotion constructs, agreement signing with partners, and raising campaign intake requests. Build a year-round joint calendar with key partners, formulate strategic plans, define metrics, and measure performance regularly. Negotiate preferential commercial terms and improve costs of payment with partners. Explore, evaluate, and establish new partner channels and alliances requested by product and business teams. Liaise with product, operation, and business teams to enhance User Experience with technical providers and financial institutions. Set up and conduct workshops and training with associated partners to define the value-added proposition for the program. Work thoroughly with the legal team to optimize partnership agreements and reduce barriers resulting in lengthy negotiations. Initiate regular reviews with partners’ channels on program performance and produce productive metrics. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of professional or military experience - Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
