The Strategic Communications team is currently seeking a Sr. Content Marketing Consultant to be based in either the London, Maidenhead, Frankfurt, Paris, or Luxembourg office. This role will be key in supporting the global marketing objectives with targeted communications to identified clients and prospects. Collaborating with Marketing Colleagues to develop and implement content marketing plans in support of business and marketing strategies. Key responsibilities include: Understanding business issues and business objectives and aligning with the needs of specific targeted audiences to deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time. Providing strategic counsel and leading planning for content marketing activities for reputation, demand, risk improvement, loyalty, and enablement programs within marketing campaigns to support corporate objectives as well as ABM campaigns. Developing and optimizing omnichannel content marketing programs related to hosted and industry events, aligning event content to specific marketing campaigns, and amplifying engagement with campaign messaging. Accountable for channel planning for maximum audience engagement according to success criteria. Proactively planning and executing content marketing programs that optimize content transcreation for local market needs by country and consistent campaign messaging; aligns with global integrated content calendar. Effectively balancing timely delivery of materials for individual programs and campaigns, providing agile support for unexpected priorities, and maximizing resources across the year. Overseeing the creation of content by agency partners, interns, freelance copywriters; also writing and editing content. Providing oversight and guidance for EMEA-based PR agencies and media opportunities to protect and enhance FM’s reputation. You must be able to work independently in a structure with a North America-based manager, multitask, and adhere to strict deadlines. This role may involve some occasional overseas travel. Knowledge and Skills Required: A degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field, ideally a CIM (Chartered of Institute of Marketing) qualification (or equivalent) or working toward it. Proven relevant marketing experience (min 9 years) within a corporate or agency environment with demonstrable experience in marketing planning, implementation, and evaluation. Experience collaborating with a global, distributed team required. Knowledge of contemporary communication channels, i.e., social media, digital media. Insurance sector or Financial Services experience desirable. Public relations experience preferable. Thorough knowledge of the complete suite of Microsoft products and the ability to quickly learn new technologies. Position Requirements: Excellent communication skills. Fluent English a pre-requisite, fluency in German would be a plus. Have demonstrable skills in managing outside third parties and vendors to achieve overall communications objectives. Adaptable work style and comfortable undertaking all levels of work assigned. Must have strong organizational and project management skills, the ability to network within the organization, lead/influence project teams, and build consensus. Must be comfortable working with senior management on a regular basis and the responsibilities and accountabilities that this brings. Flexibility to travel.
