This Finance Position will support Optum - inclusive of budgeting/forecasting, reporting, analytics, productivity, savings planning, strategic initiatives modeling, and other ad hoc financial support. Position works closely with senior leadership and Operations teams on expense efficiency initiatives or growth opportunities. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business Participates in the development of business strategy with Operations teams Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast and budget Produce clear, well-formatted reports and presentations that communicate a clear, compelling message for management Assist with management reporting and system reconciliation Assist with periodic forecast and budget creation for business leadership Analyze trends in revenue, product line profitability, membership, SG&A and other areas of business You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role
