Sr. Test Engineer

Sr. Test Engineer focuses on maintain automated test suites for restful apis using cypress api framework.

What the role involves

• Maintain automated test suites for RESTful APIs using Cypress API Framework.
• Develop and execute end-to-end UI and functional test automation using Playwright.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and define clear test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Test environment setup for API and UI automation.
• Analysing test results, identify defects, and work closely with the development team to drive timely resolution.
• Ensure appropriate test coverage for regression, integration, and system testing across services and applications.

Skills and requirements

• Candidate must have relevant experience of 3 to 6 Years.
• Hands-on experience with test automation in modern programming languages (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript or similar).
• Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar) for automated test execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
