Embark on exciting journeys as you support submarine and shore-based systems and equipment, with potential travel to other UK and USA sites. What You'll Do: Conduct tasks in a highly prescriptive environment to support Submarine and shore-based systems and equipment. Work as a fully integrated member of the Launcher Surface Support Equipment team. This may involve travel to other UK and USA sites. Work alongside technicians and engineers in corrective / preventative maintenance and load testing of lifting equipment. Support occasional overtime and on-call periods. Attend training and maintain a Professional Development Record. Potential to become qualified as an instructor depending on training, exposure, and experience. Operate overhead crane, Forklift Trucks, Scissor-Lift, Cherry Picker, including working at height. Conduct grit blast and paint spray operations. Strict adherence to all Health and Safety protocols. Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience A "hands-on" mechanical background, ready to tackle any challenge head-on. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) to streamline tasks and communication. Ownership mentality, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion. Stellar interpersonal skills, essential for effective communication with diverse groups. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to exceeding expectations in all responsibilities.
