As a member of the finance team at RCS, you will work with internal RCS resources in the Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, and Professional Services departments. Major responsibilities include reconciling accounts and recording necessary transactions, maintaining accurate and complete accounts payable and payroll records, participating in the monthly financial close process and related analysis required for management to make business decisions. The Staff Accountant will analyze business operations and financial information and make recommendations to improve RCS. Reconcile daily account transactions to ensure they are correct. Timely reconcile accounts every month in order to support accurate financial results. Input and verify necessary banking transactions, maintain accurate records, and audit regularly. Ensure customer billing is accurate and timely, especially agreement, inventory, and service billing. Ensure that the revenue is collected, recorded, and correctly recognized. This includes maintaining accounts receivable balances. Establish records for new business accounts (projects) and ensure that customer deposits and payments are received timely and applied accurately. Maintain accurate and complete accounts payable records, including reconciling between SOR (QuickBooks and Bill.com). Obtain appropriate approvals for invoices and ensure complete paperless archives. Office manager duties including monitoring supplies, mail, cleaning schedule, and communications with property manager in the event of facility issues. Document and implement procedures for the department. Assess their success and implement improvements where needed with the team. Analyze customer account data for trends and develop management reports of that data. Required Skills and Abilities:

Education and Experience:

RCS is looking for someone with an accounting degree and 3-5 years of demonstrated progressive responsibility or an appropriate combination of education and experience.
