You will provide a mental health pharmacy service to specialist mental health teams, PCNs and outpatient clinics for clozapine, depots and lithium where you will be actively involved in direct patient care. Successful applicants will integrate within clinical teams as part of the multi-disciplinary approach delivering medicines optimisation including deprescribing and improving processes to reduce risks with medicines especially between different care settings. You will have opportunities to liaise across interfaces of care with other providers.
You will also get the opportunity to rotate and work in inpatient services as well and experience a different care setting and work with the inpatient multidisciplinary team and wider pharmacy team to provide a medicines optimisation service to inpatients.

This is a rotational post where the successful applicant will rotate between inpatient services and community mental health services gaining a range of experience in specialties such as older peoples mental health, learning disabilities, adult mental health, forensic psychiatry and more.
Participation in Weekend, Bank Holiday and On call rotas will be required.
