Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust Oak House provides rehabilitation and recovery services for adults with complex and enduring mental health difficulties. Oak House has a supportive and motivated multi-disciplinary team that takes pride in ensuring that patients have a positive experience during their admission. Being part of our experienced team would allow you the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills to support patients in developing their skills and confidence in activities of daily living and accessing community activities. You will receive access to comprehensive training and educational courses. We will provide you with resources to develop a long-term career, continual professional development, and a range of support. You will be required to work Full time 13 x 11.5 hrs shifts over a 4-week period including; working days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays. Main duties of the job

Clinical handover from outgoing shift

Allocation and planning of patient care and therapeutic activities

Ensuring all activities of daily living are supported in a person-centred way focusing on independence and wellbeing

Medication administration

Ensuring the Mental Health Act is correctly applied

Supervision of junior colleagues including health care assistants and student nurses

Qualifications

RN Mental Health, RN (Adult) or RNLD

Registered on the NMC register

Evidence of continuing professional development
