This service runs over 7 days in the Uttoxeter and Burton area providing complex wound care for ambulatory patients. We are looking for a qualified nurse with passion and experience in wound care, with enthusiasm for delivering high quality person-centred care in line with the Trust's organisational vision and values. With strong communication and organisational skills and a flexible approach, you will be expected to work collaboratively with patients and key partners to facilitate the best possible patient experience and outcomes. We are looking for a nurse who demonstrates passion and ability to assess, plan, provide and evaluate evidence-based nursing care for patients. Strong clinical reasoning and prioritisation skills will be required, as well as the ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team. We are looking for a Nurse who will organise and prioritise their own day-to-day work tasks and activities and delegate tasks to junior colleagues. The main duties of this post are: Delivering complex wound care over several locations to ambulatory patients Managing complex leg ulcer patients in line with Trust policy Leading on MDT clinics, where we proactively manage patients' wound care Liaising with the wider MDT including DN's, Podiatrists, TVN, Heart Failure and Vascular Nurses About us
