Pulse Nursing have been given an exciting job opportunity in South London, for a Mental Health Nurse to become a permanent member of a private mental health hospital.

The hospital specializes in a range of mental health challenges including treatment for depression and drug and alcohol addiction treatment. They also offer inpatient mental health treatment for young people and outpatient support for individuals struggling with an eating disorder.

We are looking for determined and compassionate Mental Health or Learning Disability Staff Nurses to offer support and treatment to young people who are struggling with a range of mental health conditions. Young people may struggle emotionally and engage in unhealthy behaviours, and a proportion may go on to develop persistent mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, stress and eating disorders.

About the Role

You will be an effective member of the Multi-Disciplinary team.

The job responsibilities will include assessing, planning and delivering, with the patient and their carer/family. Providing nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse. Work as an effective member of the Multi-Disciplinary team, whilst contributing to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary team.

A competitive salary paying up to £34,279, dependent on skill and entry level!

Shift Pattern

You will work a variety of shift patterns, which will include days, nights, weekends and holiday periods.
