Please be aware of this when submitting your application. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Children's registered nurse to join the Children's Community Nursing Service across Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the well-established team. The Children's Community Nursing Service is an integrated paediatric service providing care for children within a community setting. The role involves teaching parents/carers/children/young people, and other health professionals as required and supporting pre and post-registered nursing students. This role requires an experienced clinician with team working and communication skills, who can deliver effective evidence-based care to a defined demographic population with diverse health care and social needs. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative, dynamic, and enthusiastic Registered Sick Children's Nurse (RSCN) or Registered Nurse Child (RN Child), who is looking to expand their knowledge and experience working with children and young people predominantly in a community setting. The successful candidate needs to be prepared to adapt to the changing needs of the Trust and the community models of care as they arise. The centre is committed to providing the right candidate with a development programme that will enhance their academic qualification and nursing interest while providing an excellent foundation for professional development. The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Job responsibilities
