The Critical Care department within the Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust has flexible utilisation of beds to allow for a dynamic flow through the patients Critical Care pathway. Moving forward, the Trust has entered an exciting chapter, Midland Metropolitan Hospital opened in 2024 and provides the highest quality acute specialist services in a purpose built facility. We are looking to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Band 5 nurse to join our team. This post is an excellent opportunity for a nurse to acquire knowledge and skills in the sphere of critical care services. If you are looking for an opportunity to enhance and develop within a positive and challenging environment, then this may be the role for you. Supported by an enthusiastic and dynamic senior leadership team, the unit is responsive to specialist modernisation programs at local network and national network levels. RN (Adult) with current NMC registration IV competent or willing to undertake within 6 months You must have appropriate UK professional registration. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
