Position: An opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse at East Ayrshire Community Hospital. What you will do: As part of the multi-disciplinary team, you will provide a high standard of nursing care in the delivery of outpatient service at East Ayrshire Community Hospital. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative. You should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training. Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job: You will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration. You will possess team working skills with the ability to work using your own initiative. Ability to keep relevant skills/knowledge updated and documented. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Be able to supervise and provide a practice supervisor/practice assessor role to students and junior staff. A commitment to lifelong learning and demonstrates evidence of continuing professional development. Hours: 37 per week - Part time/Job share considered.
