We are looking for a Staff Nurse to help drive forward our bespoke DCHS Quality Always on Alton Ward at Clay Cross Hospital.

Alton Ward is currently a 12-bedded ward that delivers rehabilitation care and complex discharge planning to our frail elderly population, embedding the 6 Cs in everything that we do.

This post is a permanent inpatient position within DCHS.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a Staff Nurse who is able to deliver excellent clinical and organisational skills. The post holder will be dynamic and have a clear vision of what excellent patient care looks and feels like.

To assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care in the most efficient and clinically effective way, whilst maintaining the patient's privacy and dignity.

To provide advice and support to junior staff in the delivery of high-quality care and actively support the Ward Manager in the management of the healthcare environment.
