The £20m refurbishment of our Urgent and Emergency Care has been completed, so there has never been a more exciting time to join the Urgent and Emergency Care team, influencing and shaping the both the Emergency Care our patients receive and the environment our staff work in.
The new state of the art Emergency Department includes:
10 bedded resuscitation area
29 majors' cubicles
2 mental health assessment rooms
Rapid assessment and treatment area
8 cubicles within the Children and Young Peoples Emergency Department
Main duties of the job
To assess, plan, implement, evaluate and provide high quality patient care, supporting in the provision of clinical expertise, while working effectively as a member of the Multidisciplinary Team.
To manage a caseload of patients within defined clinical areas.
To always act in a manner consistent with the Trust Values and NMC Code of Professional Conduct, carrying out his/her duties in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
To lead, support, supervise and teach staff where appropriate.
