We have an exciting opportunity for two Staff Nurses (Band 5) to join our Endoscopy Department at The London Clinic. We are offering a competitive inclusive salary range of £36,450 - £46,014 per annum. The London Clinic's JAG accredited Endoscopy Unit is a progressive and dynamic service offering a wide range of complex and diagnostic endoscopic procedures. Due to an increase in demand and the continued development of this service, an exciting opportunity for two Staff Nurses (B5) has arisen. Interviews will be conducted Friday 10th January 2025. Main duties of the job

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe management and care of patients in the following areas: endoscopy pre-assessment, all endoscopy procedures, recovery post procedure (including general anaesthetics), and discharge from services. You will plan and implement nursing care for patients accessing all endoscopy services, and support patients with their diagnosis and treatment plans. About us

Key Duties: Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of care for patients. Maintain high standards of nursing care, and support junior staff to do the same. Liaise with medical and para-medical staff, ensuring effective communication is maintained. Takes all measures to ensure the safety of the patient - reporting all accidents and incidents and completing relevant documentation, and taking appropriate action when necessary. BSc in Nursing of Health Studies NMC Registration Counselling qualification Experience

Experience working in a busy health care setting Experience in endoscopy or related speciality Experience coordinating workload for a team Experience supporting students/junior staff Disclosure and Barring Service Check
