An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the ENT Outpatient team at The James Cook University Hospital (JCUH). We welcome applicants with ENT experience, though not essential, as full training will be given. An induction programme and supernumerary period allows staff to build their confidence and skills in a highly specialised area. You will be working as part of a caring and compassionate team, supported by the multi-disciplinary team. We are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and are looking to attract nurses who share our goals. In return, we will support ongoing professional development through full preceptorship and provide opportunities to develop clinical skills. Main Duties of the Job
Applicants must demonstrate effective communication skills, be enthusiastic, well-motivated, and share a commitment to team working. You will be expected to: Support the Medical team in our Emergency Care Clinic. Assist and support any admissions to the ward. Assist with any telephone enquiries relating to a patient's treatment. Deputise in the absence of the Dept Manager and Clinical Sister, showing leadership and expertise. These duties are not exhaustive but provide a good indicator of the expectations of the post holder. Current NMC registration. Degree/Diploma in Nursing. Teaching Certificate.
