There are 3 posts available with various hours, with a rotational shift pattern. Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours. You need to have a live NMC UK pin in order to be considered for this post. The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 staff nurse positions within ECMS based in Ward G North, Inverclyde Royal Hospital. We are seeking dynamic, forward-thinking individuals to complement our existing team. The successful candidates should be caring, compassionate and possess good communication skills. This is a great opportunity to learn a wide range of nursing skills and gain experience working in a rheumatology, frailty and palliative care environment. The ward boasts a robust senior management team who are invested in providing seamless, person-centred care. NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
