An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic person to become part of the Plastics Trauma Clinic/Surgical Outpatients and Plastic surgery outpatients (Castle Hill Hospital) patient’s team; opportunities are available at both Hull Royal Infirmary (seven day service) and Castle Hill Hospital (Monday-Friday). The dedicated and experienced team care for patients who have experienced trauma/injuries and life-changing events. Main duties of the job
The service covers the Trauma unit at Hull Royal Infirmary/surgical outpatients. Within this area, we run a clean room theatre and support surgeons in performing minor surgeries. As Nurses, you will treat and manage complex wound dressings and be supported in learning vascular dressing skills. The Reconstruction Outpatient Service at Castle Hill Hospital offers a diverse working week including complex wound dressing as well as post-operative reviews and the Westwood clean room, where minor procedures are carried out alongside surgeons. The successful applicant will play a vital role in delivering high quality, safe, and efficient care to our patients. Is able to provide evidence from training or previous placements in a surgical environment Previous experience with working in a clinical team Previous experience in Plastic Surgery & outpatients Communication and Interpersonal Skills
