Ward C2 is a 20-bedded Hyper-Acute Neuro Rehabilitation ward. The nursing team works closely alongside the multi-disciplinary team to ensure that patients are supported through their rehabilitation. Nursing staff will develop skills such as caring for patients with tracheostomies and supporting complex discharge planning. They care for patients with a range of brain injuries and with prolonged disorders of consciousness. Main duties of the job

You will have the opportunity to develop a number of specialist skills and support patients from the Greater Manchester area. You will be an adult nurse who is able to: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills; Aspire to deliver excellent standards of care; Work collaboratively with all members of the MDT; Demonstrate a high level of compassion for patients and their relatives. This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled in a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 2-3 months. Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role. The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses and Midwives who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receive a full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely.
