NHS Ayrshire & Arran - Home (nhsaaa.net) What you will do: As a qualified Registered Nurse/ODP working within the Theatre Complex, you will provide care of patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures within the peri-operative setting. Following the national reconfiguration for T&O we are now the major Trauma Unit for Ayrshire. You will provide care of patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures within the peri-operative setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with existing skills in this field to enhance their knowledge and skills, with in-house training and access to University West of Scotland. There will be opportunities for further learning and gaining skills in anaesthetics. Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job: As a registered nurse with current NMC registration, you will have evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the post. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively as part of a team. This is an opportunity for dedicated professionals to either develop or broaden their skills with in-house training and access to University West Coast of Scotland. Hours: 3x positions: 37 hours per week. Monday-Sunday. There is also a requirement for flexible working patterns and on-call commitments for theatre to cover emergency surgical procedures. Driving Licence/Car Ownership: Car licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
