Evergreen is an 8 bedded general adolescent unit opened in February 2023.

The development of this service was done in conjunction with children, parents and carers who have experience of in-patient admission. Young people helped plan the ethos of the unit, recruit the staff and think about how we can deliver the best care. We're really proud of the leadership provided by young people to improve mental health services. If you come and join us, you will have a unique opportunity to truly collaborate to improve outcomes.

The space provides specialist, short-term care for children and young people aged 13-17 with severe or complex mental health difficulties. You will be working alongside a diverse multi-disciplinary team that reflects the population that we serve. Our vision is to make a positive difference in young people's lives by providing the highest quality mental health service to our local communities, to help them overcome some of life's challenges.
