Fantastic opportunity for a Band 5 staff nurse to join the neonatal team at Bassetlaw. The post holder will provide the highest standard of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised holistic care in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team within the Special Care Baby unit. There is opportunity for training, growth and development within a supportive team. Main Duties of the Job
Caring for infants requiring admission to the Special Care Baby Unit. Undertaking training packages to improve knowledge and clinical skills. Providing and supporting family integrated care on the Special Care Baby Unit. Working alongside the multi-disciplinary team to provide excellent evidence-based care. About Us

Student Nurse working towards RN Child or RN Adult or RN Adult RN Child with NMC registration Neonatal Intensive Care Course (or willing to undertake within an agreed time frame) Previous post-registration experience caring for neonates in hospital Knowledge and Experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with multi-disciplinary team/service users/relatives Able to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary team Ability to remain sensitive and patient when dealing with difficult situations. Personal Attributes & Skills
Ability to remain sensitive, calm and patient when dealing with difficult situations. Ability to plan and prioritise patient care and workload Disclosure and Barring Service Check
