We provide treatments to Haematology Oncology patients. The day area has 18 chair/bed spaces caring predominantly for patients receiving Haematology and Oncology treatments and is currently open from 0800 - 1800 Monday to Friday. The Unit uses the Chemocare electronic prescribing system and has implemented an electronic diary system of booking patient appointments.
You must be a 1st Level Registered Nurse (Diploma/Degree), with generic pre-registration experience in an acute setting; Chemotherapy experience is desirable.

Main duties of the job To participate within the multi-disciplinary team in delivering appropriate safe patient care in a timely fashion, working towards the role of Team Leader, providing clinical expertise and ensuring the delivery of appropriate safe patient care.
