Successful applicants will need to be motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable with a passion for providing high-quality patient care, along with an interest in acute medical care and specialist palliative care nursing. We care for our patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can consider several working patterns to support the work-life balance of our staff. The role will involve flexible working to meet the needs of the service. As a registered nurse, you will be expected to have excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise your own workload, delegate tasks, and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. You will be expected to take on the role of practice supervisor/assessor, supporting nursing students on placement along with our own junior members of the nursing team.
