We are seeking a number of skilled and compassionate staff nurses to join our dedicated Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services at Forest House. Forest House is a 14-bedded inpatient unit for young people suffering from emotional, behavioural, and psychiatric problems. The unit offers young people a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week service, assessing, treating, and evaluating care through a variety of therapeutic techniques, family work, individual work, group work, and the day-to-day milieu. As a Staff Nurse, you will have excellent communication skills, be an empathetic listener, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. You will have the opportunity to lead a nursing staff team in the absence of the Charge Nurse and support the Charge Nurse / Team Leader to ensure that the service is managed effectively and efficiently in all aspects. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to work on site. As a Band 5 Staff Nurse, you will be expected to: Work in close collaboration with other professionals in assessing service users' needs, devising care plans, and evaluating outcomes that promote service user empowerment through the process. Participate in the assessment and treatment to provide high-quality, individualised care, which addresses the needs of the service users.
