Are you a caring and compassionate Registered Nurse looking to work in an outstanding rated Trust? Shaston ward, based at Westminster Memorial Hospital, Shaftesbury, is looking for either an experienced or newly qualified Staff Nurse to join our supportive team.

As a Staff Nurse, you will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team in a 15-bedded ward providing sub-acute medical care, rehabilitation, and Palliative / End of Life care for the local and wider community. Our Elderly Rehabilitation and End of Life Care unit achieved a nationally recognized accreditation in the Gold Standard Framework award for end-of-life care. Our team is a close-knit community, and we pride ourselves on always going the extra mile.

The Staff Nurse post is a full-time role, but we would be flexible and accept part-time applications with a minimum of 15 hours. We have a variety of flexible shifts listed below:

Early - 07.30 - 15.30 Late - 12.30 - 20.30 Nights - 20.30 - 08:00

Main duties of the job We are committed to providing excellent standards of care for our patients, and we know that to enable us to do this, the continuous professional development of staff in a supportive environment has to be a top priority for us.

You will need enthusiasm and a commitment to provide the highest standards of care to patients, relatives, and carers, and the ability to provide professional clinical leadership. You will need to have an interest in working with older people and possess good communication and organizational skills.
