Are you a registered nurse or a newly qualified nurse? Come and join our friendly lively team in Swanage Community Hospital for the opportunity to develop your skills, expand your knowledge and make a real difference in your patients' lives and abilities. The hospital has different departments with different patient groups, including Minor Injuries, Outpatients, Radiology Imaging, and Day Surgery. This role is based on Stanley Purser Ward, which is a 15-bedded nurse-led unit, with patient needs ranging from post-fracture rehabilitation, medical diagnoses and treatments through to palliative care, supported by local doctors 3 days per week and our ANP 5 days a week. Our ward team has members from a variety of backgrounds and with varied interests and specialties. We support students and newly qualified nurses to achieve their potential, and we are an inclusive active team with days out and a lively team chat group. The team working on the Stanley Purser Unit are amongst the kindest and most caring people in the NHS today. We would welcome applications from newly qualified nurses and we provide a very comprehensive and fully supported Preceptorship Programme for newly qualified healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will have:
