Evidence of Professional Development Suitable for newly qualified or experienced staff nurse Experience of maintaining accurate records Relevant clinical knowledge and experience Act as a practice supervisor Willing to undertake Practice Assessor Training Relevant Degree or willingness to register to work towards a degree Relevant or willingness to undertake relevant module/course NHS Experience Awareness of Health Policies and the changing NHS environment Knowledge and Skills
Awareness of evidence-based practice Good organisational/time management skills Ability to deal with an acute workload Good communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to recognize the importance of teamwork Competent in organizing/prioritizing own workload and that of others Ability to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels Ability to problem solve Good interpersonal skills Teaching Experience: Evidence of ability to act as a preceptor/mentor to new staff Managerial/Clinical Skills: Evidence of an initiative which has changed or enhanced clinical practice Personal Attributes
