Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital was founded in 1969 and is now one of the leading providers of private healthcare in Leicestershire. The Hospital has a strong local reputation with patients remaining loyal. The Hospital had a £4.5 million refurbishment in 2011 and has 28 ensuite inpatient beds, 2 Laminar flow theatres, Endoscopy Suite, minor treatment room and 14 consulting rooms. The hospital delivers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient treatments and services using the best possible technologies. Since 2015 we have invested in a static MRI unit, a new digital X-ray room & digital mammography. We are a local centre of excellence for Children and Young People Services. As a Bank Staff Nurse on the Elective Surgical Ward at our Leicester Hospital, you'll drive the standard in patient care. You are registered with the appropriate governing body, plus you bring the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC. You also have post-registration experience. Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker Join a close-knit team headed by our matron on our consultant-led ward Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient's needs Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued.
