In this position, you will have an opportunity to make major contributions to our next generation transportation and logistics software for the marine industry. Responsibilities

Collaborating with Product Management, Business Analysis, Professional Services and Quality Assurance teams to deliver highly efficient features and functionality. Taking ownership of a product feature and driving design, code, and feature reviews. Developing and designing robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions based on customer requirements. Utilizing your full-stack development skills, particularly in J2EE or .NET in C#, to create and maintain applications. Utilizing your experience with JS frameworks and a strong understanding of ES6 to build dynamic and responsive user interfaces. Ensuring the technical integrity of development, in accordance with the clients’ requirements. Identifying and developing solutions for bug fixes and changes to our range of applications. Acting as a technology authority in short or long-term planning, making recommendations on technical approaches within an overall program. Providing advanced technical support and advice to others on engagement/program during proposal writing, solution design, and implementation. Providing first-hand supervision and guidance to designated lower-level Software Engineers on assigned activities. Ensuring high standards of code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices. Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for the solutions you develop. Utilizing Jira for issue tracking and project management, and Confluence for documentation and collaboration. Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed. Some international travel to customers and our other offices may be required. Requirements

9+ years of professional experience in software development using C# .NET. Strong knowledge and experience in JADE OR .NET development in C#/J2EE is a must. Proven experience with the Jade platform. Strong knowledge/experience with Object Oriented methodologies, design patterns, application architecture. Experience in J2EE / .NET Core beneficial. Experience of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience on deployment on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Experience with Jira and Confluence. Highly experienced with software development processes, particularly software design and unit/integration testing. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of application software, scalability, performance, and reliability aspects. Experience in converting user/business requirements into technical solutions. Highly motivated individual, ready to accept challenges, continually innovate, learn, and help others. Ability to work in a fast-paced, test-driven, collaborative, and iterative programming environment. Ability to coach and mentor junior members in the team.
