Staffing Connect is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader/Baby Room Manager to join a thriving nursery in Reading. Hours : 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Qualification : Level 3 or higher in Early Years Salary : £29,000 - £32,000 per annum Key Responsibilities: Lead the baby room team, ensuring compliance with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework to promote children's development. Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play. Maintain accurate records, including children's learning journeys and developmental assessments. Build strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates and progress reports. Ensure the baby room adheres to Ofsted requirements and contributes to achieving high inspection ratings. Mentor and support staff, promoting professional development within the team. Requirements: A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent. Proven experience in a room leader or similar leadership role in a nursery. Excellent organizational and communication skills. A caring and nurturing approach, with a genuine passion for early years education.
