We are seeking a London or Oxford based stage manager experienced with script R&Ds for the R&D of Hermit Crab (play) which will take place from 20th Feb - 5th March 2025. Job Description

This is a 9-day R&D for Hermit Crab, a new play about teenage homelessness told through text, movement, and music. Dates & Locations: 20-21 February 2025 (London), 24-27 February 2025 (Oxford), 3-5 March 2025 (London). There will also be 2 preparation days before the R&D rehearsals start. About the show: When his friend is taken by the sea, a young man embarks on a journey through homelessness, torrential rain, and council bureaucracy. Along the way he meets a fearless youth worker who won't let him slip through the cracks, and together they fight an ancient supernatural force to bring back his friend. Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England. Supported by Pegasus Theatre, Cardboard Citizens, and artsdepot. Job Requirements

We are seeking a London or Oxford based stage manager who is: Experienced with script R&D rehearsals Confident with LGBTQ+ and homelessness themes A good communicator and team player Job Responsibilities

Source props, costume, and stationery as needed before the R&D rehearsals start. Liaise between departments and support rehearsal planning as needed. Support rehearsals' day-to-day and creative needs and help achieve the R&D's artistic vision during the R&D period. Support the technical needs of the R&D sharing on the last day (5th March).
