SWIFT’s Standards team designs, builds, maintains, and promotes standards for the financial industry that contribute significantly to the safety and efficiency of the global financial system. A key part of that mission is to gather - in collaboration with the users of the standard - the business requirements for the development of standards and market practices for the financial markets. Key tasks will include running international payments market practice group meetings and development of message usage guidelines. In this role, you will: Oversee and manage the implementation of ISO20022 and cross-border payment standards, ensuring flawless execution. Lead working groups to successfully implement new market practices and international standards. Collaborate with various departments to develop and refine APIs. Collaborate with financial institutions, service providers, and industry associations to identify effective strategies and promote the adoption of industry standards. Analyze and interpret complex financial data to support strategic decision-making. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial messaging services, ensuring they remain competitive and world-class. Report directly to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for enhancing our service offerings. What will make you successful?

We are seeking professionals with: A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in the financial industry, ideally in an operational or business analyst role. Proven understanding of ISO20022 and cross-border payments. Familiarity with international standards and their impact on the financial system. Strong leadership skills with experience running working groups. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams. Preferred qualifications:

Experience in API development. Advanced certifications in finance or related fields. Background in consultancy, service provision, or software development within the financial sector. Proven track record of driving standards and operational improvements. What we offer
