7am - 10:43am and 2:30pm - 6:13pm, Saturdays and occasional evenings (up to 9pm) to be worked on a shared rota Ask us about flexible working options to fit with your work/life balance - #HappytoTalkFlexible The Role Working as part of a team, you will provide facilities management for the Family Hubs and Start Well Centres across the borough, in line with the Council’s standard operating procedures. You will be responsible for the maintenance of site security, opening and closing buildings, and ensuring all facilities in and around the buildings are in excellent condition, safe, secure, and clean at all times. Duties include general repairs and maintenance, manual handling, general upkeep of the building, reporting any maintenance issues to the relevant department, and undertaking fire safety and general health and safety checks. An essential car user allowance is payable as boroughwide travel across centres is required. You will work as part of a rota, so a flexible approach to work is essential. About You You will have a flexible approach to responding to the needs of the service and be able to provide facilities management for service buildings to ensure they provide a safe and healthy environment for all service users. You will be organised and committed to ensuring Bolton Family Hubs provide the best possible facilities to our children and families. You will work flexibly as part of a team, providing cover at other centres as and when required, and assisting staff and service users in a professional manner which reflects the values of the Council.
