What will you do as a Station Controller?
Supervise and lead the Dispatch Team
Oversee the daily work and flight allocation
Ensure the completion of accurate and timely post-flight reports.
Carry out pre-shift preparation including confirmation of all pre-flight checks and the coordination of all turnarounds across the shift.
Working on a rostered shift basis, this is a varied and fulfilling role with both colleague and operational responsibility. You will also play a pivotal role in driving forward both our On Time Performance and our safety-first culture. Through coaching and developing, you will help your Team to deliver Jet2.com's "on time performance" targets. As we are always on hand to help our customers, this position involves working on a rostered shift basis and requires flexibility to support our flight programme. Shifts will cover our 24/7 operation and will include working weekends and bank holidays.
What Skills & Experience Will You Need?
The successful candidate will already be demonstrating Role Model behaviours. You will have a strong background in aviation, with an in-depth understanding of load control and aircraft weight and balance. Extensive aircraft dispatch/turnaround experience is essential for this role, ideally with previous supervisory experience in a similar environment. For this role, you must hold a full UK Driving Licence and pass a Medical, administered by the airport. We are seeking adaptable, self-motivated individuals with good time management skills who enjoy working as part of a team.
