You will join the significant R&D teams in Cambridge that create and improve the products behind the company’s rapid growth. Our Statistician, AI Analysis will work across a wide variety of projects and with a diverse toolset. As a Statistician, you'll play a key role in diverse projects, from prototyping new ideas to extensive research initiatives. Collaborating with software engineers, you'll test and implement research outcomes, contributing to our distinctive cyber defense methodology. Innovation is central to our work, fostering both creative approaches and traditional project development. This position emphasizes expertise in machine learning, offering chances to engage in software development and devops engineering collaborations. Essential: Candidates must have a PhD or master’s degree in statistics, machine learning or a related discipline or equivalent experience. Experience working with Python. Knowledge of classical and contemporary approaches to analysis of time series data (e.g. bayesian analysis, HMMs, transformers). Strong analytical and organisational skills. Be a team player but with the ability to operate autonomously and take independent decisions. Desirable: Experience with recent large language models (e.g. GPT4, LLAMA2, Falcon). Knowledge of classical NLP approaches (e.g. TF-IDF, POS-tagging, Word2Vec). Experience with graph neural networks (e.g. MPNNs, GCNs, GATs). Experience with cloud architecture (e.g. AWS, GCP). Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible). Knowledge of cybersecurity or networking.
