You will be working as a key member of the Business Insights & Intelligence team responsible for Worldpay’s Global reporting function. As part of the wider Financial Transformation group, you will be a fundamental component of driving the change in Worldpay's Global Merchant solutions offering through the delivery of insights.

The payments industry is going through a period of rapid change and growth. This opportunity would put you at the centre of this with some of the leading cloud-based technologies. The broader BII team is global with hubs in the UK (Gateshead, London) and in the US (Cincinnati). As a Reporting Analyst, you will be working alongside a diverse team of people working towards the same goal, delivering a single source of truth that the business can utilise in order to make informed decisions about the future of the company. Interpreting data to discover patterns and identify trends, you will create timely, relevant and actionable insights that will be highly impactful. You will be responsible for creating and managing highly intricate data models and data-mining large, complex data sets for opportunities across our portfolio.

You will help us not just deliver data outputs but shape our new cloud-based data warehouse with the next generation of reporting and querying capabilities, while understanding the long-term goal of self-service based data delivery that our wide stakeholder audience interacts with. Key responsibilities:

Utilizes a hypothesis-driven problem-solving approach to design, construct, and rapidly test/iterate exploratory data-mining analyses to reveal insight across the Worldpay portfolio. Interprets and communicates insights to finance, operations, product, service and business management. Works with business leaders to identify and develop metrics and visualizations that will track performance and highlight potential inefficiencies. Develops in-depth understanding of underlying data, data structures, and business uses of data. Partners with a variety of business teams to gather, document and maintain business requirements that will inform data modelling decisions. Compiles data from various sources into a single, consumable data set, including design and implementation of data models. Identifies and implements data-driven process optimization. Proficiency with sophisticated analytics tools and programming languages, SQL and visualization tools (Tableau) required. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Data Analytics & Visualisation, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or similar. Experience in data mining and root cause analysis. Experience in querying, extracting and transforming large data sets. Experience with relational databases, OLAP Cubes and data warehousing (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Hadoop, AWS, Snowflake). Requires strong analytical acumen with the ability to uncover insights and create stories by seamlessly integrating a variety of data sources. Ability to work with large, complex data sets across multiple platforms and design efficient processes to provide accurate and timely information. What makes a Worldpayer
