to assist with the appointment of a

Statutory Compliance and Safety Manager , on a

£547.50 - £685.44 per Day Responsibilities: Acting as lead representative in matters of statutory compliance. Ensuring the organisation complies with current health and safety legislation, approved codes of practice, and guidance in relation to its assets. Supporting colleagues at an operational and management level to proactively establish and maintain systems that promote a culture of safe working practices across the organisation. Advising the senior management team on the implications of current and emerging health and safety legislation, including evaluating options, making recommendations, and generating action plans to ensure compliance across your area of responsibility. Conducting audits and inspections across the portfolio to ensure compliance with council policies and procedures, as well as legislation, and supporting the successful implementation of corrective and/or preventive actions. Leading on the provision of health and safety training, information, instruction, and advice and guidance. Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
