Statutory Reporting Accountant,

you will be one of the key points of contact with the external audit teams within Hologic EMEA. Working closely with the General Ledger team, you will focus on continuous improvement across our processes, as well as supporting and aiding in the development of new processes. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting, you will work to ensure the timely submission of the statutory financial statements. What To Expect: Prepare financial statements:

Act as the overall lead of the preparation of the extended trial balance for each set of statutory financial statements. Liaise with auditors:

Ensure the successful delivery of the external audits & developing a strong relationship with the audit teams. Prepare journals:

Work closely with the General Ledger team and external advisors in the preparation of statutory accounts. Present:

Preparation of technical accounting papers to explain accounting judgements to key stakeholders. Teamwork:

Supporting the General Ledger team on ad-hoc regulatory reporting queries and working with the wider team to offer support and guidance. Prepare analytical reviews:

Prepare analytical reviews for the income statement and balance sheet. Advising on changes in accounting standards and the business impact. What We Expect: Qualifications and Experience: ACA or ACCA qualification. Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience post-qualification. Experience in a practice environment is advantageous but not mandatory. Key Competencies: Demonstrated ability to stay highly organized and maintain a diligent and structured work approach. Proven track record of successfully delivering results under tight deadlines. Proactive and willing to challenge and improve existing processes and controls. Strong attention to detail with a naturally inquisitive mindset. Enthusiastic, with a consistently positive attitude. Excellent team player, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
