3x Steel Erectors needed to erect steel structures and cold rolled systems on various construction sites.
Start Date : ASAP Location : Primarily Northern Ireland, with potential for work across Mainland UK and ROI Site Hours : 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (may vary depending on the project) Paid Hours : 8 hours per day Contract Duration : 6 months Salary : £16 - £18 per hour Overtime : Overtime paid at time and 1 half
Key Responsibilities : Erecting steel frameworks and cold rolled systems on construction sites. Ensuring all steelwork is installed in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. Adhering to all site safety protocols and working safely at height. Operating and maintaining equipment necessary for steel erection. Assisting with lifting and moving steel components with appropriate lifting techniques. Reporting to site supervisor or foreman regarding daily tasks and safety issues. Completing any necessary site-specific paperwork. Qualifications & Experience : IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) certification. Working at Height certification. Abrasive Wheels certification. Manual Handling certification. Telescopic Handler certification (preferred but not essential). Experience in steel erection, ideally in both cold-rolled and structural steelwork. Tools & Equipment : All necessary tools and equipment will be supplied.
