Steelwork Draughtsman vacancy!
Excellent opportunity to join a highly successful and growing engineering business based out of their office in Northamptonshire, near Great Oakley. The successful Draughtsman will join the existing drawing office and work on projects individually as well as part of a team. Projects are typically industrial access and support steel such as stairs, handrails, walkways, platforms, cat ladders, etc.
Steelwork Draughtsman duties include:
Using TEKLA software to create accurate 3D models of projects. Producing all fabrication and erection drawings together with material lists from the TEKLA model. Raising RFI/TQs as needed to clarify information.
Steelwork Draughtsman requirements:
Previous experience working as a steelwork Draughtsman/Detailer is essential. Experience working on steelwork projects as listed above would be highly advantageous. Experience using Tekla CAD software is highly advantageous. Be seeking a permanent PAYE job and live in/within a commutable distance of Great Oakley.
On offer for the successful Steelwork Draughtsman: Excellent salary available that is negotiable depending on experience. Potential to progress into more senior roles in time. Secure work with a reputable employer on a permanent PAYE basis. Friendly and supportive working environment.
