2 x 25 hour posts and 1 x 20 hour post available We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team, working in a busy friendly environment. You must have a pleasant manner and be able to work as part of a team to assist in the delivery of a high quality decontamination service while maintaining the department's quality standards ISO 13485:2016 (UK MDR 2002). Main duties of the job

Your varied duties will include the decontamination, inspection, and function testing of surgical instruments/equipment used within operating theatres and other departments. You will be responsible for the dispatching of goods to the wards, theatres, and other departments. You will be trained in all aspects of Decontamination Practices including Sterile Services, Endoscopy Decontamination, and Specialist Mattress Decontamination. This job role involves manual handling of heavy goods. The successful candidate should be working towards Healthcare Science Assistant Level 2 qualification for completion within 3 years of commencing post. About us

Knowledge

Basic knowledge of Infection Control procedures Prior NVQ Training Qualifications
