We are looking for a Stock and Admin First Line Manager to join our team in Northampton. You will manage, direct, control and monitor the work and performance of all Stock and Admin Clerks on shift, to ensure completion of daily functions, fully, safely and accurately. At all times the First Line Manager must be aware of and comply with company values, policies and procedures. This position is offered on a 06.00am - 14.00pm shift pattern (fixed shift) any 5 from 7 days. How you will contribute? Provide daily shift leadership and direction for a team of Stock & Admin Clerks to ensure that all required tasks are completed in a timely manner. Demonstrate the company values and lead by example. Monitor shift and team performance through tools provided. Strive to ensure a best-in-class HSE performance is achieved and that the site operates in line with all company and customer procedures and requirements relating to Health and Safety. Adhere to operational processes (SOP) and identify training requirements for your teams. Drive a continuous improvement programme, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and process improvement. Liaise with other departments to ensure that aims and objectives are met (Warehouse, Customer Service, etc.). Identify training needs and take appropriate action to address these in line with individual and operational requirements. Conduct probation, inductions, 1-1’s and appraisals. Conduct disciplinary investigations and interviews. Embrace the introduction of new procedures and equipment technology. What you will bring? Proven experience in leading and managing a small team. WMS experience. Act as a member of a flexible team and foster good working relationships. Consistent and considered in approach. Positive attitude when dealing with challenges & change. Forward-thinking and planning skills. Team-oriented. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Drive for continuous improvement. Considered an advocate and role model for Cygnia Values.
