As a Stock Auditor at Makita, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing inventory within our network. Your main responsibility will be ensuring the accuracy of stock records, performing regular stock counts, and investigating discrepancies. What You Will Be Doing: Perform regular stock counts and investigate any discrepancies. Maintain accurate inventory records using BPCS, including raising adjustments and handling location transfers. Provide monthly feedback and reports on discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisors. Assist with the management of monthly machine and accessory stock counts. Conduct damage checks on stock and report any issues. Analyse trends in inventory discrepancies to identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the warehouse. Uphold professional standards in uniform and behaviour in line with company policies. Assist with other duties as directed by management, particularly in time-critical activities like monthly stock takes. What We Are Looking For: Proven experience in inventory control, stock auditing, or warehouse operations. (Essential) Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., BPCS) for stock adjustments, transfers, and record maintenance. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when performing stock counts and updating records. (Essential) Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies efficiently. Analytical mindset to evaluate trends in inventory discrepancies and provide actionable insights. (Essential) Excellent communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with warehouse teams. (Essential) Knowledge of health and safety standards in a warehouse environment. High standard of professionalism, with adherence to company uniform and behaviour policies. (Essential) Ability to manage time-sensitive tasks, including stock counts and SLA-driven investigations. (Essential) Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or inventory control. (Desirable) Previous experience in conducting stock audits or inventory reconciliation in large warehouse or distribution environments. (Desirable) Ready to Join Us?
