Stock Controller West Bromwich, West Midlands £25,000 to £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (40hr week, fully office-based)

Do you have experience as a Stock Controller? We are seeking a proactive and analytical Stock Controller to join our client's team and ensure efficient stock management in a fast-paced environment. You will be coordinating stock for smaller and larger contracts; this is an important role to ensure efficiencies within the business.

Key Responsibilities of the Stock Controller:

Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize shortages. Analyse stock data and trends to forecast future stock needs and plan accordingly. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate stock replenishment. Conduct regular stock audits to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies. Generate and analyse stock reports to provide insights and recommendations for stock optimization. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance stock management efficiency. Work closely with the sales, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless stock operations.

Requirements of the Stock Controller: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Experience in the packaging industry is preferred, or within a manufacturing environment. Forward-thinking and proactive approach to stock planning and management. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Previous experience in stock control or inventory management is required.
