Monday-Thursday 06:30-15:15 - Friday 06:00-13:00 Our client is looking for a Store Lead/Stock Controller to ensure the smooth flow of materials in and out of the unit onsite. You will take responsibility for the Workshop and be the 'go-to' person. Key Responsibilities: Receiving and booking in of raw material, inspecting it for damages before accepting it and processing delivery notes. Responsible for raising job cards for the shop floor and cross-referencing material certificates for compliance in conjunction with Inspection. Ensuring accuracy in all operations relating to materials handling (including servicing shop floor material demands, booking in/out activities). Responsible for material preparations (billet/bar form) and servicing shop floor material demands. Dealing with general email queries. Ensure the skips are emptied. Conduct hardness testing for material conformity from received goods. Responsible for early-stage Sub Con organisation (raw material). Responsible for Stock Control and Bi-Annual Stock Take. Moving parts and supporting expeditor when required. Ensure that all logbooks (Forklift) are completed daily/weekly. Work in accordance with the quality system and processes of the company. Coordinate with fellow team members, managers, and directors. Drive departmental and individual Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Goals and Objectives (G&O). Review, create, and/or adjust section processes and/or procedures. Adhere to the company’s health and safety requirements and complete training as required. Adhere to company standards, i.e., Environmental, Social and Governance, Anti-Bribery and Cyber-Security. Assist in other duties as requested. Skills and Qualifications/Experience: ERP and Microsoft experience. Forklift experience is ideal, but we will provide refresher course or training. Driving Licence required. Excellent communication skills with a positive can-do attitude. Excellent organisational skills. Decision maker. Ability to work independently. Health & Safety mindset. Manual handling stock skills and comfortable being on feet most of the day.
