Our client is seeking a reliable and organised Stock Controller to join their team. This role is essential to ensuring smooth warehouse operations and supporting the wider team. They produce a range of premium products while maintaining a commitment to excellence that extends beyond their offerings and includes their staff. Responsibilities

Picking and preparing sales orders for dispatch to customers, ensuring all shipping deadlines are met and dispatched items meet brand and regulatory standards. Assisting with site activities, including receiving, storage, shipping, and addressing logistics-related issues. Accurately completing all required paperwork or electronic records for dispatched items, stored goods, and received deliveries. Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace. Receiving and processing returned goods promptly to ensure inventory accuracy. Safely operating a forklift during daily duties, ensuring compliance with all safety standards. Participating in monthly stock inventory counts. Complying with all relevant company health and safety policies. Using a computerised stock control system to track and manage incoming and outgoing stock levels. Handling caged or palletised stock, with occasional handballing required. Qualifications and Experience

Hands-on experience with receiving, storing, shipping, picking, packing, and preparing sales orders in a warehouse or stock control role (beneficial but not essential). Familiarity with health and safety regulations (particularly in warehouse or catering environments). Keen attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. A valid counterbalance forklift licence with relevant experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently (required for all applicants). Benefits
