Stock Controller

to work at our depot based at M1 Junction 16-17,

Watford Gap NN6 7UB . This is a full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday from 08:00-16:00. What you’ll do on a typical day: Review stock and operational activities within the warehouses; make decisions regarding these based on area performance monitoring and evaluations against key performance indicators. High level of stock responsibility, cycle counts and auditing. Inventory audits at the Roadside Technology Maintenance Centres located across the United Kingdom. Investigate product specifications, correct product codes, and descriptions. Order emergency stock for the regional depots. Allocate stock/products to Work Order tasks based on the importance and priority level. You will also be required to visit customers' premises and cover other depots for holidays at various times during the year. What you need to succeed at GXO: Full, clean driving license is required. Skilled in warehouse activities. Experience of working with computer packages including stock management systems. Strong IT, organisational and administration skills are essential as the role involves a high degree of systems interaction and stock accuracy. Proven planning skills. Ability to work on own initiative as well as leading a team. We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
